Northern Regional College is a further and higher education provider, catering for over 8000 learners across the council areas of Antrim & Newtownabbey, Causeway Coast and Glens, Mid & East Antrim and Mid Ulster. The College offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for school leavers, full-time and part-time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university accredited courses, as well as providing a range of business services to support the business community

The College has a skilled Business Engagement and Technical Specialist Team who have a wealth of experience and expertise to enable businesses to access the resources, funding and solutions to help grow their business. They work regularly with local businesses offering bespoke training and upskilling, free Training Needs Analysis and innovative education solutions as well as advising on funding opportunities.

Queen's University Belfast is one of the leading research-intensive universities within the UK and has a long-standing international reputation for successful dissemination and application of cutting-edge research, knowledge transfer and the commercialisation of research ideas and innovations. 

The Research & Enterprise Directorate is the first point of contact for industry and the wider community wishing the engage with the University. The Directorate team draw upon the depth and breadth of our world-class multidisciplinary research base to help provide answers to many of the challenges faced by companies and public bodies, and to provide access to our vast array of research facilities & equipment across a variety of sectors and disciplines. The team promotes and supports academics in building relationships with commercial and public sector partners, and facilitates the knowledge exchange process across the wider University community, leveraging opportunities for further business engagement and identifying and supporting the transition from problem to solution. 

The College works in close partnership with universities and colleges, as well as industry to allow knowledge transfer and remain receptive to technological innovation. We are Lead partner on industrial robotics Connected project with Queen's University Belfast but the College's expertise is not just confined to engineering. With industry-standard facilities and staff, the team's key areas of expertise expand across:
